EP Release: Lake (July 2024)

From Luminescence Chamber Singers, one of Australia’s hottest new vocal ensembles: an EP of mesmerising beauty, inspired by the concept of life cycles and their role in human connection, as expressed in the poetry of Claire Nashar – reflections on the destruction of fragile natural ecosystems as a lens for navigating human loss. Composer Leah Blankendaal explores the contrast of micro and macro worlds through juxtapositions of sound and silence that draw us in and show us how to listen more closely and care more deeply.
